What is InDesign?

InDesign is Adobe’s desktop publishing software. It’s perfect for use to create posters, flyers, brochures and magazines – both online and for print.
Adobe InDesign is the world’s leading desktop publishing software – so a certificated course in it is a great addition to your CV.

Which InDesign training course should I choose?

We offer three different levels of Adobe InDesign training to choose from:

Depending on your existing InDesign skills, you can pick the training course that’s right for you. If you’ve never used InDesign professionally before, start with our Introduction course and work your way up. Our clients say it’s a great beginner’s course. If you’ve already been using Adobe InDesign to create documents for a while, our Intermediate course will be more appropriate. Finally, when you want to get insider tips and learn best-practice ways of working for really polished results, our Advanced level Adobe InDesign training course will take you through the more advanced features and functionality. Even experienced InDesign users will learn something new.

If you’re not sure which level is right for you, give us a call on 020 3397 4567 and we can talk you through your options and experience.

Are your training courses suitable as a refresher course in Adobe InDesign?

Yes, absolutely. Now that Adobe has moved to the Creative Cloud delivery model for its products, new features and changes are pushed out to users much more frequently. Staying on top of all these updates and making the most out of all the new functionality can be a challenge. Platform 39’s InDesign courses are a great way to refresh your InDesign skills.

What will I learn on your training courses?

You’ll learn how to create professional-looking documents, brochures, flyers and magazine formats. You’ll learn how to create and apply styles for faster and more consistent working. And you’ll learn how to make the most of new InDesign functionalities and cloud-based and collaboration tools.

If you have a very specific set of topics you would like the course to cover, you may wish to consider booking a private course. In addition to the scheduled open course dates at our Westland Place studios, we are happy to deliver private small group and one-to-one courses either in our dedicated learning labs or at your own offices.

Why should I choose Platform 39 to learn new skills in InDesign?

Platform 39 is a welcoming small class size training centre that specialises in Adobe, video and web development training. We always aim to deliver learning in a fun and interesting way that ensures what you learn sticks with you. Our expert tutors make your day with us entertaining as well as valuable.

What makes Platform 39 different from other training providers?

Here at Platform 39, we believe that the quality of training is directly related to the quality of your tutor. That’s why we insist that all our tutors have their own active design practices. They teach alongside their professional design business, so you can be sure you have access to the latest design and commercial advice. Our tutors offer experience and insights that you won’t find in any software manual – it is their knowledge and experience that sets our courses apart.

Do your courses come with any guarantees?

Experience tells us you’ll have a great day with us and come away excited to put your new skills into practice. However, we have a Platform 39 Learning Guarantee. This means, if you come away from the course feeling you haven’t learnt everything we listed in the course content, tell us within 48 hours and you can retake the course again at no cost to yourself.

What happens after the course?

After the course, you will receive a Platform 39 certificate of course attendance, as well as the course notes. We also provide email support for up to a month after you complete a course with us – so you can reach out for additional support if you need it.
